In money moves, Anthropic has locked in roughly $517 billion in compute leases over the past 11 months alone, covering 14.8GW of capacity, according to The Information. That unprecedented spree now includes a reported $35 billion cloud agreement with Nvidia-backed neocloud Lambda, tied to 350MW under development in Nueces County, Texas. Quantitative trading firm Jane Street has reportedly signed a $13 billion, five-year contract with Crusoe, its largest deal yet.
